Do you offer group classes?
We offer private lessons only. This is based on our philosophy that dog obedience training is most successful when it is conducted in one-on-one sessions. This setting allows the trainer and the dog to focus their complete attention on the specific training needs of that dog.
What breeds of dogs do you train?
We have trained all breeds of dogs. You would be hard-pressed to find a breed that we have not trained – from Chihuahua to Great Dane, big or small, we train them all!
What training methods do you use?
I use science-based, positive reinforcement training methods to teach dogs in a way that’s both effective and enjoyable for them. This means I focus on rewarding desired behaviors (with treats, praise, play, or other things your dog loves) rather than using punishment, fear, or intimidation.
Positive reinforcement builds trust, strengthens the bond between you and your dog, and creates long-lasting results. I also incorporate force-free, fear-free techniques to ensure training is stress-free and tailored to your dog’s individual needs.
Is my dog too old for training?
No, your dog can be trained at any age provided that you, the owner, are willing to learn too.
